One boat with one person sailing west into the sunset. The night before I finished painting this piece, I returned to my apartment on the beach at sunset. The hair on my neck rose high as I looked out from my balcony over the ocean at the painting I had nearly completed. The same clouds in the same shapes and colors lay full size before me while my painting rested on a ledge to the right of the door. |
